What is a lightning protection system and do I need one?
A lightning protection system (LPS) safely intercepts a lightning strike and conducts it to earth so it does not pass through your building, people or equipment. Any structure in a high-lightning area such as Tamil Nadu — homes, apartments, factories, schools, hospitals, government buildings and firework units — benefits from an LPS designed to IS/IEC 62305.
What standard do you design lightning protection to?
All our systems are designed to IS/IEC 62305 (Parts 1–4), the Indian and international standard for protection against lightning. We carry out a formal risk assessment first and select the protection level (LPL I–IV) that the standard requires for your structure.
Are your lightning arresters and earthing products tested?
Yes. Our products are tested by CPRI (Central Power Research Institute), Eurofins (electrical resistivity) and CIPET. Test reports are available on request.
